Lifting Kutsunugi Ishi into Public Japanese garden with a crane

The build phase of the project is when the hands of skilled craftsmen bring your landscape to life. The variety of our landscapes may include a koi pond and waterfall, traditional tea garden, meditative rock garden or a majestic landscape of Japanese walls and sculpted pine trees.

A complex set of artistic and technical skills goes into the construction of our garden compositions.

Efficiency, attention to details and quality craftsmanship define our working style. There are times when seasonal conditions, for example waiting for ideal planting times, may cause breaks between the hardscaping and the planting phase, but our aim is to bring the project to completion so that you an enjoy the results as soon as possible.

Japanese Garden Maintenance

Our aim is to not only create a beautiful landscape, but to build it with the long-term development of specimen trees, shrubs and other plants in mind. Just as our many years of experience in Japanese garden construction informs our designs, the thousands of hours spent doing pruning and maintenance in Kyoto’s famous gardens has provided deep insight into how to guide these landscapes into the future.
